Made from heat treated S7 for extreme durability and long life, the holder extends down the tap to prevent overtravel and eliminates the risk of cross threading when backing out. The tap is held in place with a set screw so if forced beyond the limit of the stop, the tap harmlessly slips. Fits all standard 3/8-16 taps with 3/8” shank
