The Suspensory Branch Shoe is designed by Jean-Marie Denoix, DVM, PhD. An asymmetric shoe with a wide branch to provide support under suspensory ligament branch injuries and a narrow branch to reduce opposite lever arm.
Indications: Suspensory branch injuries: put the wide branch under the lesion. Please see the picture diagram to choose A or B shoe. The view is from the ground side (not foot side) of the shoe. (It is a collateral shoe in the drawing, but the principles are the same.)
A is a left lateral / right medial
B is a right lateral / left medial
